Who we are
TheoCore was created by people in ministry, for people in ministry.
We understand the demands of pastoral ministry because we have spent years serving within the local church and alongside those called to lead it. We have seen firsthand the responsibility of caring for people, the continual demands of administration, the preparation and proclamation of God's Word, and the challenge of remaining present for family while faithfully serving the local church.
TheoCore was not built from the outside looking in. It was born from within the work of ministry itself, from a conviction that those who devote their lives to serving Christ and His people should have technology designed by those who understand both the weight of that calling and the boundaries technology must respect.
That understanding continues to shape everything we build.
Our mission
TheoCore Limited builds biblically grounded technology that serves the local church by assisting with and carrying tasks that may appropriately be delegated. We believe technology must never replace or usurp the pastor's calling to know and shepherd his people and faithfully proclaim the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our vision
We envision a day when those who lead the local church are free to give themselves to the people entrusted to their care, rather than to the administrative weight that has come to surround ministry. We believe technology, rightly used, can return to a pastor what he cannot recover on his own: his time, and with it, his rest. Rest from the cares that were never the work of ministry, so that a congregation and a family alike may know they have a shepherd, a husband, and a father who is present rather than divided. Our hope is a local church whose members are drawn back together as one body, edifying one another from the pastor to the newest member.
What we believe
The work of the ministry belongs to the pastor and to God. Technology has a place in supporting that work, and it has boundaries it must never cross. These convictions govern everything we build.
The work of ministry is between the pastor and God.
Our tools assist a pastor in the ordering and triage of information. They never assume the place of the Holy Spirit in the work itself.
A resource, and not the preacher.
We provide what a pastor can carry with him: the information, and never the inspiration. We are here to serve, not to speak in his place.
We support study, and stay out of sermon preparation.
We give a pastor tools to study the Scriptures as fully as he is able. We do not tell him what to preach. Rightly dividing the Word of truth is given by God to the pastor, and to no one else.
We surface needs; we do not perform the sacred.
We will show a pastor the prayer requests of his people. We will never write his prayers. We will help him bring a message to the page. We will never decide what belongs on it.
Some things are sacred, and do not belong to technology.
Wherever the line between the calling of a man and the assistance of a machine is in question, we hold to the side of the sacred.
What we mean by biblically grounded
When we describe our work as biblically grounded, we mean that Scripture, and not convention or the trends of the day, governs how we build. We go to the Word itself to understand how things ought to be done, and we take it at its word. We are not perfect, and we will not always get it right, but we are resolved to stand firmly on the Word of God. Every tool we create must serve a purpose we can trace to Scripture and affirm, in good conscience, as something God would have the local church do.

The information a pastor carries is often the most private a person will ever share. We regard it as a sacred trust. Second only to our commitment to Scripture is our commitment to the privacy and protection of those we serve.
A church's information stays with the church. It is kept securely, behind the church's own credentials, and the most sensitive information is held behind a second layer of protection that only the pastor holds. We will never sell it. We will never give others access to it. And we are continually strengthening the protection around everything entrusted to us.
The pastor who serves his people should never have to wonder whether what they entrust to him is safe with us. It is.

Statement of Faith
A word before you read
TheoCore exists for one reason: to get pastors back to the work of the ministry, to carry the load that keeps a shepherd from his people, his family, and his calling.
Everything we build is made to serve you, in your study, in your pulpit, in your ministry, anchored in the Scriptures and faithful to what you hold. Our tools meet each pastor in his own convictions, with his own Bible, on his own ground.
What follows is simply what we believe. It is here so you know who is serving you, and nothing more. Whatever your background, if you are laboring to preach the Word and shepherd people, this was built with you in mind. We are here to help pastors, to help the local church, and to help that one faithful man God called to the work, and that means you.
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the very Word of God, verbally and fully inspired in the original writings, and kept pure through every generation by God's preserving hand. They are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed. For the original languages we hold to the Masoretic Text of the Old Testament and the Received Text of the New Testament; for the English-speaking world we use the Authorized (King James) Version. The Bible is our sole and final authority for all faith and practice.

The Godhead
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory, sharing one and the same nature, essence, and perfections. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth in six literal, twenty-four-hour days.

The Person and Work of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man without ceasing to be God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, that He might reveal the Father and redeem the lost. We believe He lived a sinless life and accomplished our redemption by His death on the cross, a substitutionary sacrifice in the sinner's place, and that our salvation is secured by His literal, bodily resurrection. We believe He ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where He serves as our great High Priest, Intercessor, and Advocate. We believe in His personal, visible, and imminent return, the "blessed hope" of His people: that He will catch up His own to Himself before the seven-year tribulation, and that at its close He will come again with His saints to establish His literal thousand-year reign upon the earth.

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and who is the agent of regeneration, indwelling every believer and sealing him unto the day of redemption. We believe the sign gifts, such as tongues and the gift of healing, were temporary; that tongues was never the common or necessary evidence of the Spirit's baptism or filling; and that the body's final deliverance from sickness and death awaits the resurrection, though God still answers the prayers of His people for healing as He wills.

Satan
We believe in the personal existence of Satan, a created being who fell through pride and rebellion, who is the adversary of God and His people and the deceiver of this world; that his power, though great, is limited and subject to God; and that his end is everlasting torment in the Lake of Fire.

Man
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that through Adam's sin the whole race fell, inheriting a sinful nature and becoming alienated from God; and that man is therefore wholly unable to save or reform himself. We believe that the only marriage God recognizes is the union of one man and one woman, and that He forbids every intimate sexual relationship outside of it. We believe that all forms of sexual immorality, including homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography, are contrary to God's design and are sin; and that man is not to alter the sex God gave him.

The Way of Salvation
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, wholly of grace, apart from any merit or work of man. We believe that a sinner is justified and accounted righteous before God only through faith in Christ and His finished work, and that the new birth is the instantaneous work of the Holy Spirit, not a process. We believe that everyone who is truly saved is kept by the power of God and is secure in Christ forever.

The Church
We believe that the church is local. A New Testament church is a local assembly of baptized believers, voluntarily joined together to carry out the Great Commission. We believe the Lord does His work in this world through local churches, whose establishment and continuance are plainly taught in the New Testament. We believe in the autonomy of the local church, free from any outside authority or control, with Christ as its only Head; and we recognize two ordinances given to the church: baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. While all the redeemed are part of the body of Christ, the church, in the New Testament sense, is always the local assembly.

Our Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto judgment. We believe the redeemed, at death, are absent from the body and present with the Lord, awaiting the resurrection unto glory; and that the lost remain in conscious punishment until the Great White Throne Judgment, when they shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated but to suffer everlasting, conscious punishment.

This statement does not exhaust the whole of our faith; the Bible itself is the sole authority of all we believe. We hold, however, that this statement faithfully represents the teaching of the Scriptures.
